"The Chosen" is a highly popular series that portrays the life of Christ as described in the Gospels and aims to be historically accurate to that time period. The disciples joke, quarrel, snipe, and support one another through change and uncertainty. Jesus laughs as well as cries, and you see the anguish he feels when misunderstood.

• Jesus healing those in need

• ​John the Baptist's question: Are you really the one who is to come or should we look for someone else?

• Peter walks on water

• John the Baptist is killed

• Feeding of the 5000

• Jesus declares "I have not come to bring Peace, but division."

• James & John ask for seats at Jesus' right hand.
