About the Fund

The Fund is to attract and retain talented, faithful congregational staff members by providing funding for their ministry related professional and continuing education.
The funds are intended to support ministry related continuing and/or professional education for Grace Lutheran employees, including a reverse scholarship to help in the retirement of professional ministry related student loans.

Fund Distribution

• The first 80% of this fund is intended for ministry related Student Loans in a reverse scholarship.
• The remaining 20% is for Staff related professional and continuing education.
• If either allocated percentage goes unused than it may be redistributed.
• The Fund is intended to provide matching dollars.
• Applications should be submitted quarterly to the Endowment Disbursement Committee.  Grant applications should be processed within 10 working days.
• Funds will be limited to availability on a quarterly basis.

Review

A yearend report of monies spent will be reported annually to the Church Council by the Endowment Disbursement Committee.
