Fourth Annual Volunteer Luncheon
It takes many people to make a church successful, most of who are volunteers. It you are a colunteer at Grace lutheran we would like to honor you at our annual volunteer luncheon on Friday, May 9th.

Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota Adoption is holding an information meeting for all its programs on Tuesday, April 15, 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. It will be held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church (lower level), 710 South 2nd Street, in Mankato. Annual Hotdish Luncheon
Please join us on Thursday, April 17, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for Grace Lutheran's annual hotdish luncheon! For just $5, you'll enjoy a variety of homemade hotdishes, buns, bars, pickles, and a beverage.
Did you know that April is the month set aside for honoring volunteers? In the spirit of service, Grace Lutheran Church is dedicating this month as a time to discover how we can “Give back to Jesus”. In reflection of this, how are you, as a member of Grace Lutheran Church giving back to Jesus? There are hundreds of ways that we can give back to Jesus and show God’s love through service to our church. From baking the communion bread we partake in, to painting the church we worship in, there are many volunteer positions to be filled. On April 13th, 20th, and 27th there will be a chance to sign up for volunteer opportunities throughout the year. These will range from one time volunteer opportunities to higher commitment positions. Please search your heart and pray about how you can give back to Jesus and help with the responsibilities of being a member of Grace Lutheran Church.
Adult Forum is Back!
During the months of April and May, Pastor Dan is going to lead discussions concerning the Social Statements of the ELCA. Social statements are social policy documents, adopted by the ELCA Churchwide Assembly, addressing significant social issues. The schedule will be as follows:

It’s time to think about your summer plans. Please consider putting Vacation Bible School in your summer plans. Vacation Bible School will run July 27-31, 6:15 pm -8:30 pm. We need volunteers to be able to offer this wonderful program to our kids. We are looking for lesson teachers, game teachers, helpers, music teachers, decorators, and nursery help. Vacation Bible School is one of the easiest ways to volunteer your time and to touch the lives of our kids. We do the work for you!!
