3rd Gear:
Youth in Action

3rd Gear Senior High Ministries is a combined youth ministry of Grace and St. John Lutheran Churches of Waseca, MN.

The name was voted on by youth shortly after the two churches combined resources in late 2006.

The logo reflects the name in that the three gears symbolize a Triune God, Grace Lutheran Church, and St. John Lutheran Church working together like gears in a machine.

“3rd Gear” or “3G” ministries consist of weekly gatherings on Wednesday evenings that rotate between churches every month, small groups that meet at various times during the week, and regular fellowship events and service opportunities with the focus on encouraging young people to grow, struggle, and to solidify their faith in Jesus the Christ.
